When using Chrome, there is no right clicking to get a menu if you want to create a desktop shortcut of a web page. It is very easy. Click on the web address and drag it to the desktop. You may need to reduce the size of your window to get a little desktop area to drag it to. That would be the rectangle just to the left of the red x in the upper right corner of your screen. You can then click and drag the icon anywhere you want it on the screen. That is actually easier than in Explorer!
